I love it when sweet treasures show up in the shop. These lovely, loosely-woven handkerchiefs are so unusual. The ones above are the perfect size for wrapping up your hair or a gift. These brightly colored double-sided ones are smaller, but so adorable.

These locally-made project bags are also pretty fabulous. They are double thickness with a nice substantial draw string, so they are going to last. We are expecting more soon for the Rose City Yarn Crawl. Stop in and see the pretty things!

Loving this pretty pile of marled Cascade 220. The 220 Wave is a superwash worsted yarn that would be great for blankets, sweaters, gloves, and hats. The shades slowly fade over the course of the skein, so it will knit up into something beautiful!

We have these beautiful bouquets of Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok for all of you with the need to stripe and colorwork all the things. Neutrals? Yup. Warm colors? Yup. Cool colors? Yup. We have it all.

Teenie Weenie Wool! These little bundles are perfect for a colorful accent on a shawl or finishing up heels and toes on socks. Each ball is 43 yards of wool/nylon blend, and we have so many nice shades.

Look at these pretty new colorways from Knitted Wit! These two are called Dancing Queen and Mammoth Caves. This sock yarn is so squishy and durable and vibrant. I can definitely recommend.

I love this dusty pink shade of Herriot from Juniper Moon Farm. It's so rich and smokey and classy. This DK alpaca yarn would be so lovely for a cozy scarf or cowl.

We have a bowl of alpaca pom poms from Handworks NW. They are like fluffy little clouds! If you are looking for that floaty look to finish off a handknit hat, these might be just the thing. The two new shades of Harrisville nightshades are on the shelves. Each colorway has a black base with a subtle color added in, creating a moody and beautiful tonal yarn. On the left is Stiletto, pink on black, and on the right is Vinyl, black on black. Here they are in full sun below. They are really best appreciated in person, so come on down to the shop for a look.

We have a fresh batch of Lang Cashmere Light on the counter, and it's the perfect thing for making a squishy and cozy ribbed cowl using this easy pattern.

Sadly, our sweet blue sample has disappeared from the shop! While we hope it is doing someone good out there on these chilly days, we are sad that it is gone.

Good thing we have so many new shades to choose from for a new one! These do make fabulous and easy gifts. Maybe someone you love needs a warm neck this winter...
