You know how much I love a good marled yarn! Tahki Vermont is just the thing for all of your cozy sock monkey dreams. (Check out these awesome fingerless mitts.) It's a 50/50 alpaca/Merino blend, and the natural shades are all beautiful. This one won't last long, friends!

Cotton Merino
Sometimes you really need to see the swatch, you know? The Katia Concept Cotton Merino looks really pretty in the ball and on the shelves, but the swatch is really the thing here. I love how the brushed wooliness creates such a nice halo around the lighter core. The knitted fabric ends up looking hand-dyed and visually interesting.
We have a nice range of shades, from dark and stormy to light and springy. This yarn would be great for hats and scarves and cowls. I want to stripe that pale pink and spring green and creamy white into a cozy stockinette stitch cowl. Maybe this one. Or this one. Or something with fisherman's rib or brioche...this would do nicely with some plump ribbing. Any inspiration from you in blog land?

Eye Candy
Have you sniffed the Wool Wash from Farmer's Daughter? Each bottle contains lanolin to help refresh your knits, and the scents are all fabulous. The Bergamont Chamomile is my favorite.

Oh, Sweet Gerorgia!
Look at this gorgeous yarn from British Columbia! Sweet Georgia Yarns has been around for quite awhile. I remember ordering from her Etsy shop at least ten years ago! The business has grown, and we are so excited to welcome these beauties to Close Knit. We have a shelf full of Tough Love Sock right now, including a range of multis and semi-solids.
This yarn is perfect for long-wearing socks, but it would also make lovely shawls, hats, baby sweaters, even adult sweaters if that's your thing. At 425 yards per lovely skein, you are getting a generous amount of gorgeous. This yarn won't last long, so pop in and find your favorites!

Arranmore Light
Hello, beautiful Arranmore Light from The Fibre Company. These hanks contain 328 yards of merino, cashmere, silk in a perfectly crisp DK weight yarn. Just the thing for a tweedy sweater, a drapey shawl, or cozy scarf. The Bibbe pullover looks fabulous! In fact, the whole Pop Collection from Kelbourne Woolens looks really cool. They do a great job of taking a classic yarn and making in modern with some really great designs.

Naturalia (Also With Alpaca!)
Do you like big yarn? Especially when it smells at bit like a barn? Then this Naturalia is your stuff. It has a rustic odor, I can't lie. The shelves are fully stocked with the solid, marled, and alpaca blend versions of this awesome stuff.

Eye Candy
In my other life, I'm a preschool teacher, and the kids often come up with the coolest color combos. I know grellow was all the rage for a while, but maybe grorange is the new thing? All the kids are doing it!
