Spun Right Round Fade Kits

Have you all jumped on the fade bandwagon? You can fade hats, shawls (so many shawls), sweaters (for kids and grown ups) many possibilities. Basically, you choose a range of yarns that all play nicely together and knit them into something that makes you happy.
This seems to work really nicely with hand-dyed yarns. Lucky you! We have a bunch of gorgeous sets all ready for you from Spun Right Round
We have some neons, some earthtones, some pastels, and some black and whites with a pop. These have been packaged up in sets of six or five, so you can choose what you need based on the size of your projects.
These will make great gifts (hint, hint) and they are going fast! Stop in and find your favorite fade!

Jagger Heather

This Jagger Heather yarn is such a dream all knit up. We have this gorgeous hat sample in the shop...look at all that beautiful variation. It's a weighty Aran weight, but I can't figure out which yarn it is on Ravelry! Regardless, it's amazing. Look at these colors! (Especially that red...oh my.)

Cestari is Here

I'm so excited to see this rustic barny wool in the shop!
I've been oggling the Cestari Traditional Collection 2 Ply online for some time now, and I am beyond excited that I now have easy access to it. Look at all that marled goodness.
This yarn is 100% Targhee/Columbia wool, and it's crunchy and rustic and made in the USA. Cestari claims that it will hold up to a cold machine wash, as the yarn does not felt easily, but I don't think I'd chance it. Avoid dry cleaning to retain the lovely natural lanolin. Your knitted garment will soften up as you wear it and with each cold hand washing.

We have a pretty little swatch to show off how nicely this Aran weight wool knits up.
Sally is working on some nice cozy Hyak socks with the Cestari. They are going to be perfect for staying cozy by the fire at home.

I've been holding on to this Sounds of Life Cardigan pattern for awhile now, looking for good alternative yarns in our shop. But now I can just knit it with the intended Cestari.

If you like rustic and marled, this yarn is calling your name. Pop in and take a look!

Herriot Fine

Look at this gorgeous yarn.
Herriot Fine is a light fingering weight alpaca with a touch on nylon for strength. This pretty stuff from Juniper Moon Farms has such a lovely halo and sheen at the same time. And the colors.
The yellow acid green is stunning, and I love that deep purple in the lower photo. The soft camel and baby blue are pretty fabulous, too. We received a nice collection of patterns for Herriot Fine, including the Otono Shawl, the Mossery Wrap, and the Clematis Cardigan.
We also have the Everyday Cardigan and the Tangled Lace Scarf.
This yarn knits up into a lofty, light weight fabric, perfect for light layers and cozy wraps. And it's just so beautiful! Stop in and let us know what you think.
