Laine No. 9

The newest Laine Magazine is in the shop and full of pretty things! So many cozy sweaters and wraps for these chilly days. I love all of the texture and interesting colorwork.

Laine Magainze, Issue 8

Oh my goodness, I love this publication. Every issue of Laine has been worth collecting, and Issue 8 is no exception.

So many lovely sweaters. If this sort of pretty is your thing, this issue of Laine Magazine should definitely join your collection.

Eye Candy

I don't have as much time as I would like to make things right now, but I am still collecting publications like these for inspiration and serenity. When my brain needs a five minute break, I find I am so much happier flipping the pages of these lovely publications than I am staring at my phone. 

I am gathering my materials to make Apricite from the cover of Laine Magazine Issue 7. The orange Rowan Felted Tweed is from a frogged project (we have this in stock at the shop though), and this stormy blue Lang Lace is what Melissa and I decided would be the perfect thing to hold along with it. I can't wait to get started after I graduate next month!

Oh, Laine Magazine, how I love you so. I would like to live in your pages. This issue went so fast, we had to reorder. Hustle in for yours if you are a fan, too. More designs and pattern info on Ravelry.

 

Laine, Pompom, and Amirisu (and Making)

These are happening...Laine, Pompom Quarterly, and Amirisu. I love these booklets, and I'm so excited to see them in the shop. I have word that Making might be on it's way, too.

I have been collecting Laine since its first issue, and that scarf on the cover of Amirisu is making my heart pitter-patter. (Kits from the the hand-dyer are on their way.) Pompom is always full of cute stuff, and that cover sweater is worked up in Genmou, which we have in the shop now! (More on that next week.) Stop in to see these beautiful books!
