Eye Candy
I realize that swatching is not everyone's favorite part of a project. But when you get to use a beautiful shade of Harrisville Flywheel, it's really not so bad. This is the Stonewall colorway, but I think I bought all of it. Don't worry. The other shades are gorgeous, too.

This hat is made from Unicorn Farts. Knitted Wit Victory Sock Unicorn Farts, to be exact. I'm using a cool pattern from a past issue of Knitting Traditions. The hat is basically a tube with closed up ends. I'll fold the hat in on itself to create a cozy double-layered cap. Pretty cool. And it's a nice way to use up a whole skein of cool sock yarn without knitting actual socks.

Endless Eye Candy
How about this Endless Wrap from the Blue Sky Fibers trunk show? It's knit with nine skeins of Woolstok, making it the coziest thing ever. Sally has it wrapped around several times here, and she is very toasty warm. Winter is not over, friends!

I'm having a slight obsession with this Bug Jar colorway from Spun Right Round. Grey base with orange and green splatters...so good. I saw some projects knit up on Instagram, and I can't get it our of my head. Search #spunrightround and #spunrightroundyarn for more, but be prepared to become obsessed yourself. We have it in the sport and sock weights, and I want it all.

It's another Yarn Crawl bag. But look at it! The Bucket Bags are available for pre-order now on the RCYC website. These are the gorgeous Queen Bee Rebecca Pearcy bags that we have had in the shop over the years, and they are stunning. Locally produced and very high quality, I promise. I've been using and abusing a similar bag for almost seven years, and it's still going strong.

Socks on the brain! Check out the new self-striping stuff from Lang.
Each ball has a little spool of nylon reinforcing thread for the toes and heels. How thoughtful! Check out those cool stripe patterns.

Eye Candy
Happy Monday! I don't know about you all, but my head does not feel like it's screwed on straight today. Let's have a sneak peek at some lovely yarn that we will be seeing in the shop soon, Highland Bling sock yarn from The Farmer's Daughter Fibers.
Maybe this will help us get started off on the right foot this week. Enjoy the possible sun today!

Free blanket pattern! This is a mash up of my 1966 Blanket and the Noromania blanket, worked up in Noro Kureyon Air. You'll need just six skeins and a US17 needle to make this awesome blanket.
Here's the free pattern. Enjoy, and stay warm!

Gry's Jacket is one of my favorite little baby knits. One ample skein of sock yarn does the trick. This is Bumblebirch Heartwood in Dandelion, the most lovely grellow and the unofficial Close Knit color. This sweet thing is in the shop!

Eye Candy
Take a gander at this stunning Alleunmer cowl, knit up with five skein of Swans Island All American Sport. The pattern is part of Ysolda Teague's most recent ebook, Knitworthy 3, available for purchase on Ravelry. The yarn is really something. The subtle color shifts are best-appreciated in person. See you soon!
