Knitscene

The fall issue of Knitscene has some cute stuff! I know it's July. Bear with me. The Barton Cowl on the cover looks like fun. It's knit up with light fingering yarn, but I think any fabulous sock yarn would be fun. Think of the color combinations.

Classic black, white, and grey look so good together in the Suzuri Hat, Hanshi Wrap, Sumi Sweater, and Fude Tee.
The big, relaxed fit on those pullovers looks so appealing. Perfect layers for the fall.
The Warren Cowl (above) works up in three earthy shades of Cascade Nevado. If you've never tried brioche stitch before, this would be a great place to start. This Parks Wrap is really classy, yes? Worked up in a light sport weight yarn, it would be a lovely gift.
The Alice Hoodie reminds me a bit of the wildly popular Central Park Hoodie from way back when. That garter stitch panel up the back is unusual and cool on a cabled hoodie
Since we have lots of Blue Sky Bulky in the shop, you can make this Amelia Hat in a jiffy. Plus, pom pom.
We have already discussed this gorgeous gansey-style pullover designed with flyWHEEL. The Troposphere Sweater is in my queue and waiting.
Summer seems to be upon us, but we can just keep knitting.
