close knit: the neighborhood yarn shop

Sock Class

Cost: $60.00
6 hours of instruction
Instructor: Emily
Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 PM, February 14, 21, and 28

Emily wants you to make socks. All kinds of socks using all kinds of methods: top-down, toe-up, many possibilities!
If you have your own sock pattern that you've been wanting to try, feel free to bring your materials to class. You will need the yarn and needles that your pattern requires. Emily can help you knit them using any method, so consider DPNs, two circulars, or one long circular.
Emily's February class will focus on toe-up socks knit in colorful Liberty Wool. Just like last month's Rye socks (below), these are worked in worsted weight on US6 needles, so you can see some speedy progress. You will need two balls of this worsted weight yarn and US6 needles in whatever form you'd like to use (DPNs, two circulars, or one 40" circular).
You are still welcome to try January's top-down socks during the February session if you prefer. All socks are welcome!
