YARN CRAWL UPDATE!

The folks in charge of the yarn crawl this year have made the tough decision to move the crawl online for the health and safety of our whole community. Details are still unfolding, and it sounds like shops will generally be open regular hours with limited customer capacity based on each individual shop. Details will be posted here as we work hard to figure out how to continue this tradition in a responsible way!

Don't forget to order you RCYC bag to commemorate this year when we had to get creative to make this work! Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Rose City Yarn Crawl

Things are going to look a little different this year, but we are excited to welcome yarn-lovers into our shop for the 2021 Rose City Yarn Crawl. The crawl will take place March 4-14 to give folks more time and space to spread out and keep all of us safe. Take a look at the RCYC page for more details.

If you would like a 2021 RCYC bag, please pre-order yours now. You can choose to pick your up at the local Portland yarn shop of your choice, or you can have it mailed to you in March. We will have a very limited supply available in the shop during the crawl, so the pre-order is your best bet if you love collecting these bags. We can't wait to see you all!

Tuft Soaps and Lotions

Need to wash your woolies? We have the Tuft wool soaps back in the shop! We also have the lanolin-rich hand and body balm in case your skin could use a little love, too.

Schoppel Zauber Perlen

Take a look at this fun Slip Sliden' Cowl designed with the Schoppel Zauber Perlen we have in the shop. The pattern uses up all the yarn in this squishy, textured fabric. The black and white is pretty, but a nice bright one might be just right for our rainy winter.

I have been coveting this book on the internet since I learned of its existence. Ready Set Raglan provides a blueprint to create your own custom sweater. You can choose necklines, textures, colorblocking, and fancy raglan details. This is such a great book if you want a place to begin designing your own sweaters.
